Meet Dr. Christian Manley, Your Issaquah Orthodontist
Dr. Manley attended Walla Walla University for his pre-dental education. He received my Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree, Bachelor of Science in Human Biology, and a Master’s degree in Orthodontics at Loma Linda University. Since orthodontics is always changing, evolving, and utilizing exciting technology, Dr. Manley and the rest of the team participate in continuing education. They're committed to learning the latest treatment techniques for both braces and Invisalign.

Why an Orthodontist in Issaquah? Orthodontist vs. Dentist
An orthodontist is a dentist, but a dentist is not an orthodontist. Not every dentist is qualified to be an orthodontist, even though every orthodontist starts as a dentist. Like all orthodontists, Dr. Manley had to continue their education for 2 or 3 additional years before receiving the necessary license and certification. Dr. Manley has spent years studying nothing but how and why to move teeth, as have all orthodontists. This includes what to do, how to plan, and how to give you a treatment plan that works best for you. If you’re interested in Invisalign clear aligner treatment, Dr. Manley is one of the top
Why does it matter if you see your Issaquah Orthodontist?
Dentists receive basic orthodontic training to perform root canals, extract wisdom teeth, and treat young children who do not yet need to see an orthodontist. On the other hand, specialists receive additional training to give them the skills required to deal with more difficult orthodontic problems.
Seeing a specialist like a Issaquah orthodontist may change your braces experience by:
- Providing more treatment options, with a variety of braces or therapies to choose from.
- Having personal experience treating multiple cases that share your unique concern and anatomical characteristics.
- More efficient treatment and visits because it is the office’s focus area of care.
- Knowing that you’ll receive the best possible outcome on your treatment plan, especially if you have severe bite discrepancies that need to be addressed.
- Being seen more quickly will be focused on more prolonged patient cases or emergencies throughout the day.
While some individuals may think it’s easier to have their orthodontic work completed by their dentist, convenience shouldn’t be a barrier to seeing a specialist. You will only be stopping by your Issaquah or Sammamish, WA orthodontic offices every six to eight weeks.
And don’t let price be a problem either! Christian Manley Orthodontics is proud to provide affordable treatment in the Sammamish, WA area.
Testimonials from Issaquah orthodontist patients
I was so impressed with Dr. Manley and his staff. I always felt welcome and well taken care of. At any time, if I had any issues, broken bracket, loose wire, or just a question, they would not hesitate to get me in asap. Growing up with missing teeth makes you feel less than. I have always hated to smile, talk in public, or meet people due to the feeling that they would judge me by my teeth. Thanks to Dr. Manley and his staff, I can't stop smiling!!! If you or anyone in your family needs ortho work, I would highly recommend a visit to Dr. Manley's office. You will glad you did!!! - Carol
Dr. Manley and his entire staff have been great with my family. I started there a few years ago. I had braces as a teenager, but I couldn’t get all the work I needed. I looked around and went to three different orthodontists and was lucky to find Dr. Manley. He was patient and took the time to make sure I was happy with my smile when I was done with my treatment. I liked my experience and results so much that I have had all three of my children have their orthodontic treatments done with Dr. Manley. Not only has Dr. Manley been great, but the entire office is also so friendly and welcoming. They always greet us with a smile and have some fun contests or events running so we all can stay in touch or have fun. Thanks! - Darawan
