The Invisalign aligners are virtually invisible and removable which means that you can have your teeth straightened without anyone knowing and you can eat and drink what you wish.
Ever since being made available in 1999, Invisalign has become one of the most popular ways to straighten teeth among adults. The Invisalign aligners are custom designed by using advanced 3D computer-imaging technology. The cost of Invisalign is comparable to what other types of braces cost. Invisalign should be covered by insurance plans in the same way conventional braces are covered.
When you are wearing Invisalign aligners, you can brush and floss your teeth as you normally do, as there are no metal wires or brackets used. The smooth aligners are custom-made just for you so that they are comfortable to wear. There will be an average of 18 to 30 aligners made for you and you will wear each set of aligners for about two weeks. Your teeth will move gradually, week by week. You will have to visit us every six to eight weeks so we can ensure that your treatment is going along, as it should. Most people wear Invisalign for six to fifteen months.
